How the check works
The check reads two signals from a creator's public profile. View quality: their most-viewed recent video is screened for fake-view patterns. Reach consistency: average views are compared against the follower base — views far below what the follower count implies are a classic bought-follower fingerprint.
How to read the result
The low / medium / high verdict comes from the view-quality screen. The views-to-follower ratio shown alongside is a heuristic reference: views lagging the follower base often means bought or long-dormant followers — but a single profile snapshot is a screening signal, not proof.
FAQ
- Is one video enough to judge a creator?
- It's a screening signal, not an audit. Use it to shortlist; the in-app audience report adds audience geography, age ranges and a confidence grade.
- Does the check cost anything?
- Sign-up is free and new accounts start with free credits — enough to run your first checks right away. Each check uses 1 credit; deeper audience reports are available in the app for credits.
- Where does the data come from?
- Public platform data and third-party public profile databases. We don't scrape behind logins or buy private lists.
- Is this an audit?
- No. It's a heuristic estimate from public metrics to help you decide whether to reach out — not a verdict on a creator.
- Does it cost anything?
- Some tools work without signing up. Data lookups use a small number of credits per successful query; failures are refunded automatically.
- Can I export the results?
- Yes. Unlocked results export to CSV, and in the workspace you can process them in batches.
- How many accounts are sampled?
- By default we sample the creator's 60 most recent public videos and cross-check two signals: views-per-follower and interaction distribution.
- Does low risk mean it's definitely fine?
- Not necessarily. Low risk only means public metrics show no obvious anomaly. Inflation techniques change, so still look at the content and comments.
- Which platforms are supported?
- TikTok today; Instagram and YouTube detection is being wired up (see the tool page).
- Am I charged if a check fails?
- No. Failures and timeouts are refunded automatically — nothing is consumed.
- Does this work for Instagram and YouTube?
- Yes. Instagram and YouTube use an account-level heuristic risk estimate (upstream offers no per-video detection endpoint there), and the page states the methodology difference explicitly.
