How the calculator works
Paste the view counts of a creator's recent posts (5–20 is ideal), separated by spaces, commas or new lines. Formatted numbers — 12,345 · 1.2K · 1.2M · 3.5万 — are recognized automatically. We compute mean, median and spread instantly.
How to read the result
If the average sits far above the median, one viral post is inflating expectations — price partnerships on the median instead.
FAQ
- Average or median — which should I quote?
- The median — it ignores one-off viral spikes and reflects what a sponsored post will more likely deliver.
- Which posts should I include?
- The most recent 5–20 organic posts. Skip pinned virals older than three months if they no longer reflect typical performance.
- What does it mean when the average is much higher than the median?
- It means one or two posts carry the average — organic virals or engagement pods both do this. Quote the median instead; the tool itself warns you when the average is 3× the median.
- How many posts can I paste?
- Up to 30. Anything beyond the first 30 is counted as truncated and shown, and unparseable fragments are flagged — nothing is silently miscounted.
- Why is median views more useful than follower count?
- Followers are a stock number that can be bought; median views measure reach actually delivered per post — which is what a sponsored campaign is buying.
- My median is far below my follower count — is that bad?
- Not automatically — it often just means an inactive audience. But a very low ratio combined with recent follower jumps is worth a fake-follower check before you quote rates.
- Where does the data come from?
- Public platform data and third-party public profile databases. We don't scrape behind logins or buy private lists.
- Is this an audit?
- No. It's a heuristic estimate from public metrics to help you decide whether to reach out — not a verdict on a creator.
- Does it cost anything?
- Some tools work without signing up. Data lookups use a small number of credits per successful query; failures are refunded automatically.
- Can I export the results?
- Yes. Unlocked results export to CSV, and in the workspace you can process them in batches.
